Street Monsters

Street Monsters ? That’s urban art realised by children under the guidance of the artist CyKlop.

The artist CyKlop gave classes to young children from 6 to 10 years old, at Saint-Maur school in Paris, and all directed by Jean François Bouabbas, their visual art teacher.
At the end of the course, the « monsters » created by the children have benn installed in the Morvan Street (Paris 11) on 92 bollards by CyKlop himself, who also painted the eye on each of them.

This artistic installation will become a « street monsters » realised by a new generation of street artists!

Street Monsters, is not only in the streets!
That’s also an exhibition, imagined by CyKlop at the UNIVER Gallery.

The children become real artists exhibiting their pieces of Art with drawings of their monsters, pictures of them, tehir portrait with their monsters once installed in the street.
Others surprises are waiting the visitors…

About CyKlop
CyKlop is an artist who investigates the public area and who is playing with bollards in the streets. He is painting « his unic eye » on them, called CyKlop.
He is mostly inspired by pop art, comics, manga, Art Toys… He realised a lot of pieces in Paris, Marseille, Le Havre, Angers in France, Berlin in Germany… and he is exhibiting quite often in the streets or in galleries.

  1. To be honest with you, I think Street Monsters is the most brilliant idea one street artist had in the last 5 years…and there were many. Love them.
