I wish I had published sooner…
When I was going to the south of France, in Agen more exactly, I passed in front of a great place, on the high way 21!
This place is called Club 47. Why such a name? Siply because it was the name of the Club before, but it’s abandonned since 2000 (if I have a good memory) and this place was painted by local artists like DRUM and his WGC crew (Drum, Rheza, Wosto, Flop and Chov).
Together, they painted all walls, and the result is amazing! I was happy to find this place and to be able to stop to take photos… Congratulations to the artists!
So i said that i wish I had publish this info sooner beacause the website of the main artist is now down (www.graffidrum.com), and so I don’t have a lot of info…
++++ EDIT : the website is working again >> Go and discover his amazing work on: www.graffidrum.com
But I had the opportunity, well the chance to meet him on site, whereas I was taking photos… he was going to paint inside.
So I asked him a few questions and that’s why I know a piece of history of this place.
Some gossip, this place save drivers from the automatic radar because they slow down when they see the building with graffiti and they are not caught by the radar.
Photos are better to feel the place:
And the bonus, as I met the artist DRUM, a picture taken inside the building, where the pool used to be…
DRUM if you randomly read this article, please let me know!
